Questions from a Newbie

Hi all

I've followed the postings on this board on and off, for a while now. I have a few thoughts/questions that I would like your comments on ( both the anti- and the pro- lobby please!)

First of all, let me state that I have been a devotee for several years, and that the allegations have shocked and disturbed me deeply. I have put SB 'on ice' until the truth comes out.

Initially it was disbelief, then anger at having been duped and having wasted my life, and now some niggling questions just wont go away.

1 If the allegations are true, then SB should have the full weight of the law thrown at him. Period. However, it seems to me that people who disbelieve his miracles because there isn't enough proof, or the claims are subjective, etc, are only too ready to believe these anti- stories which have about the same level of 'proof'.

Now, I understand that there are signed statements, etc, which one imagines, would be admissible in a court of law, but there could be equally credible statements from equally upstanding persons who would testify to SB's miracles, etc.

So, what is one to make of that?

2 If SB really is as evil as he is being portrayed, why has he given darshan for the last 60 years, and why does he build (girls) schools, hospitals, etc? If I had loads of money and a huge following, I would go off to a nice tropical island when I had my first million, and whilst I was young enough to enjoy it:-).

Just why do you think SB does these seemingly charitable acts?

3 I, along with a lot of other people, had my share of coincidences/ miracles/ serendipitous events which led me to SB, and so have a lot of my rational friends. Also, I , along with other friends whom I trust, have had dreams, etc, where SB has revealed facts that no-one else could have known.

Can these all be explained by my 'inner spirit', or whatever? I really can't buy all that stuff that SB is a dark lord with powers on astral levels, etc. He is either who he says he is, or a cheap( and clever) paedophile.

That is all for now, but I look forward to your views. The anti- lobby should have a 48 hr headstart before Sanjay comes back on line on Monday! :-)

Hi MavDr

I really think your questions are very valid! and I would like to answer them the way I see things now.

<Now, I understand that there are signed statements, etc, which one imagines, would be admissible in a court of law, but there could be equally credible statements from equally upstanding persons who would testify to SB's miracles, etc.

So, what is one to make of that?>

If Sb is proven to have committed these crimes then I think it would outway any evidence of miracles. I am starting to realize that there are many people able to do what he does. It isn't a big deal to me anymore. Also there are many who can show his "miracles" to be false also.

<2 If SB really is as evil as he is being portrayed, why has he given darshan for the last 60 years, and why does he build (girls) schools, hospitals, etc? If I had loads of money and a huge following, I would go off to a nice tropical island when I had my first million, and whilst I was young enough to enjoy it:-).

If sb was to go onto a tropical island and enjoy his wealth where would the money continue to come from? How would he attract his followers? He feeds people the truth which is not unique to him with one hand and is destroying peoples lives with the other. Many are so blind by the truth that they cannot and don't want to believe the other. He is supposed to be God after all! Who would question God?
I saw when I was in the interview room his fake manifestations of rings I saw the way he threw one ring under his pillow and took out another. Would I dare stand up and say didn't you see that he is faking it? and risk my life?

<Can these all be explained by my 'inner spirit', or whatever? I really can't buy all that stuff that SB is a dark lord with powers on astral levels, etc. He is either who he says he is, or a cheap( and clever) paedophile.>

I think this is a hard question to answer but I really think that we believe him to be God. Our conscious brings to us and our minds the image we have of God. What I mean by this is if we believed Mr. so and so to be God then they would appear before us as God, we have the innate ability to manifest God as we want God to be. Yes I believe we are all God so when we are striving to see God and to become our true selves then these experiences happen. I also believe this to be a huge part of the word history what is happening now. I believe we will come through this event stronger and knowing of our own inner strength and God.

These are just my thoughts. I hope others will have their views and help me out as well!
