Mojdeh Danesh is an acupuncturist whose main business was based in Gloucestershire, UK, with another such in Kentish Town London. She has laboured to give herself and her business a massive presence on the Internet. She has promoted herself as an unusual chanelling divine power, also in respect of her former contacts with the Sathya Sai Baba. She has been involved in controversies concerning her claims, and charged with taking money under false pretences, having had to settle out of court in once case brought against her by a top marketing director of Body Shop, Nina Collins. She was, however, not convicted in another widely-reported case in which she was sued for similar swindles. Claims against her are reported on a number of websites. See Stroud News and Journal, the Rick Ross site here and also here and here:-

As is evident, persons who lay claim to special healing powers in connection with Sathya Sai Baba are far from uncommon. It is big business and can be combined with other less controversial but popular enterprises. Of course, Sathya Sai Baba constantly denied that his supposed healing powers were never given to anyone whatever, and that no one could represent him in any way at all (apart from the officials in his institutions who he personally instructed to undertake certain announcements).

Similarity with the same type of brainwashing, performed by the Sai Baba cult, is evident, please have a read:
